I noticed dark spots on the curtains, which was off-putting. The TV barely worked, and the lamp between the beds was out. The shower handle was broken, which took some fiddling to get it going. I could hear a lot of noise from the hallway, including doors slamming and a crowd outside late at night. A positive note is that I called the front desk about the noise, and they acted quickly to handle it. The breakfast situation at Hooters next door is interesting—definitely not what I expected for a hotel meal. Overall, my stay was okay, but I think they could do better in terms of cleanliness and maintenance.

The King Room with Sofa Bed offered a decent space for staying solo, and I appreciated the friendly front desk staff. Also, I noticed one of the glasses was dirty and there was only one coffee mug for two people. The beds were okay, but mine squeaked. The location was decent, close to where I needed to be, and I appreciated the attached restaurant for meals.

I stayed here while visiting my daughter and loved that we were just a short distance from Riverside Park and the Children’s Museum, which made our city strolls super enjoyable and family-friendly.
